Goal and target
Define the region, the function to improve and the intended sensory or muscular response.
FRNeuromuscular technology · Geneva
A high-intensity BTL peripheral magnetic-stimulation technology used, after strict screening, to modulate selected pain, recruit or relax muscle and support motor control.
Rue de Fribourg 7 · 1201 Geneva

The Super Inductive System uses a high-intensity pulsed magnetic field to induce current in excitable tissue. Depending on targeting and purpose, this peripheral stimulation can feel like deep tapping or produce muscle contraction, without needles or skin electrodes.
At IMG Clinic, SIS is not applied automatically because an area hurts. Assessment first defines a measurable goal: pain modulation, muscle activation, relaxation of selected overactivity or facilitation of useful movement. Position and dose follow the device instructions for use and the response observed in real time.
Direct studies and the wider peripheral magnetic-stimulation literature suggest possible short-term adjunctive benefit for selected indications, but devices, populations and protocols remain heterogeneous. SIS is not presented as regeneration, a guaranteed cure or a replacement for active rehabilitation.
02 · IMG CLINICAL REASONING
Indication, field geometry and safety are checked before stimulation begins.
Define the region, the function to improve and the intended sensory or muscular response.
Screen for every electronic implant, pump, stimulator, prosthesis or other metallic material, together with objects in the active area.
Check pregnancy, anticoagulation or bleeding disorder, fever, tumour, cardiac disease, recent surgery and other instructions-for-use contraindications.
Stabilise the patient, keep the head and heart region outside the field, and choose a functional test to repeat.
03 · CLINICAL PATHWAY
SIS remains a tool serving clinical reasoning and function.
Confirm indication, consent, contraindications and removal of metal or electronics from the exclusion zone.
Record pain, movement, strength or the task that will provide a comparison.
Position the applicator and introduce exposure progressively with continuous observation and communication.
Repeat the test, check tolerance and integrate movement, exercise or manual care when it serves the goal.
04 · INDICATIONS
05 · FAQ
Depending on the goal, you may feel deep tapping or muscle contractions. Intensity is introduced progressively and you may ask to stop at any time.
The region can often be treated through suitable clothing, but jewellery, cards, phones, watches and every metallic or electronic object must be removed from the safety zone.
No. It is considered only when a defined clinical goal, compatible target and appropriate safety profile are established.
Studies suggest possible adjunctive benefit for selected myofascial pain, tone and function, but evidence remains indication-specific and limited. No claim of cure or regeneration is made.
