FRClinical framework developed in Geneva
A mechanism-oriented multimodal clinical framework connecting musculoskeletal tissues with their segmental neurological organisation.
Rue de Fribourg 7 · 1201 Geneva

INT organises assessment and treatment around the neurosegment: relevant dermatomes, myotomes, sclerotomes and autonomic relationships. It examines how muscle, fascia, joints, ligaments and periosteum may contribute to protection and limitation.
The framework selects and sequences existing modalities: medical massage, manual therapy, segmental neuromodulation, Segmentopuncture, myofascial rehabilitation, exercise and physical technologies.
INT is currently being developed and documented in Geneva. It should not be presented as a universally validated method or a substitute for medical diagnosis. Its components have varying levels of evidence.
02 · IMG CLINICAL REASONING
The aim is to make the strategy explicit, reassessable and proportionate.
Relate the painful region to the functional and neurological segment.
Identify the most plausible and modifiable mechanisms.
Adapt intensity, sequence and frequency to tolerance and response.
Check changes in pain, movement, strength and function.
03 · CLINICAL PATHWAY
The framework does not require every technique; it justifies selection.
Synthesize history, examination, neurosegments and goals.
Choose priority targets and modalities.
Organise manual treatment, neuromodulation and activity.
Retain, modify or reject a hypothesis according to response.
